Alastair Morgan points his finger at Dirty Cops

On 29th October 2004 the publishers and authors of the book ‘Untouchables: Dirty Cops, Bent Justice and Racism in Scotland Yard’ took a procession of vehicles headed by a decorated double deck bus from North London to Parliament Square where they were met by MPs Andrew McKinley and Simon Hughes. The book which features the murder of Daniel Morgan as well as whole catalogue of crimes committed by officers of the Metropolitan Police was written by journalists Laurie Flynn and Michael Gillard who lost their jobs at the Guardian Newspaper as a direct result of uncovering police malpractice. The event was covered by newspaper correspondents and television crews from BBC London, HTV (Wales). Sky News broadcast an interview with Alastair worldwide on the same day.
